Although the Eternal President Great Leader and General KIM IL SUNG has been demised for 20 years his revolutionary exploits his love for the Korean people, his un-relentless struggle for peace, justice and independence and the reunification of Korea lives on in the hearts and minds of all the world progressive and peace loving people. Therefore I believe it is only appropriate that at this E-Seminar to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the demise the Eternal President and General KIM IL SUNG that we recall his revolutionary exploits.
Throughout the world progressive and peace loving people are showing great emotion, admiration and boundless reverence for Eternal President KIM IL SUNG, peerless and brilliant hero who has made an immortal contribution for the independence and freedom of humankind. The August name of President KIM IL SUNG the founder of Socialist Korea is the brilliant light of the Sun which will shine forever and is a vivid demonstration that President KIM IL SUNG will always live in the hearts and minds of all progressive people. The great President KIM IL SUNG is the Sun and saviour of humankind who founded the original Juche idea which demonstrated that the popular masses are masters of their own destiny.
The exploiting society of capitalism compelled the working class and toiling masses to be subjected to all the contempt's and maltreatments as an inevitable fate. The popular masses had led their lives as subordinates creating huge amount of wealth for the exploiting class without recognising that they were the driving force of history that they were the masters of their own destiny.
With President KIM IL SUNG founding the Juche idea and applying it to revolutionary practice a new chapter of revolutionary history was carved out the era of independence where the masses for the first time became masters of their own destiny.
Over a historical period many leaders have advanced the concepts for leading the toiling masses in the struggle for social development, revolutionary change, liberation and freedom. However due to the fact that they did not scientifically fully understand the historic position and role of the masses the concepts that they put forward had limitations in the struggle for the emancipation of the international working class.
It was only President KIM IL SUNG who had the peerless foresight outstanding knowledge and understanding who blazed the correct path of humankind by founding the great Juche idea which in the historical sense represented a new era of history where the popular masses emerged as the masters of their own destiny and the world.
Today the world progressive people clearly recognise that President KIM IL SUNG perfectly clarified the position and role of humankind in the world by founding the Juche idea, and highly praise and uphold him as leader of the Korean people. Furthermore as a world leader and founder of the Juche idea he proceeds from absolute sympathy for truthfulness and the recognition of the invincibility and vitality of Juche idea.
President KIM IL SUNG, having a life- long motto that the people are his god, dedicated his long struggle to the happiness of his people. His life and struggle was for the love of the Korean people, country and its nation and a sacred life for world independence and peace and the eternal prosperity and happiness for its people.
President KIM IL SUNG who suffered pain with the Korean people during their period of slavery by the Japanese Militarist Fascists at an early age embarked on the road of revolution. For over twenty years he led the Korean people in their struggle against the Japanese invaders to put an end to misery and the suffering of the Korean nation. The success of the anti - Japanese struggle opened up a new vista for the Korean people to embark on a new destiny for independence.
Witnessing the dynamic and revolutionary changes that Korea undertook the world progressive people came to realise that no imperialist force can force independent people into submission when led by outstanding leader. As a result of the outstanding leadership of President KIM IL SUNG and over a historical period the Korean people have clearly demonstrated that under the flag of the Juche idea they will prevail against any dominant force that conspire to overthrow and crush their struggle for independence and social change and remains an inspiration for the world popular masses.
In a capitalist society the working people are treated like slaves to create more wealth for the privilege few. Historically it is recognised that in a capitalist society the toiling masses are the creators of all wealth but that wealth is privately appropriated by those who own the means of production leaving the workers and their families with the bare minimum or living in poverty without food, shelter or clothing. The term “people” as is the word “democracy” in a capitalist society creates a false illusion of freedom and equality and are dishonestly used by politicians that serve the interest of the ruling class.
However in the D.P.R. Korea where genuine working class politics are being practised the position of the people is at a high level and their quality of live continues to grow which is recognised and admired by the world progressive forces.
There is an old saying “Seeing is believing”.
Throughout the world people are consistently subjected to anti-DPRK propaganda by the western media through lies and fabrications and distortions of the truth. However this western propaganda is dispel when foreigners visit the DPRK and see for themselves that society and the economy is planned and developed to serve the interest of the people. That the people are warm and friendly and are truly independent from the decadents of a capitalist society.
Today H.E. KIM JONG Un, the supreme leader of the Korean people, upholding the noble wishes of President KIM IL SUNG and H.E. KIM JONG IL has formulated the revolutionary ideas of President KIM IL SUNG and H.E. KIM JONG IL as Kim IL Sungism - Kim Jongllism and energetically is leading the construction of a striving nation true to their behests.
The boundless trust of the Korean people in their leaders is a rock firm faith which is embedded in their hearts through their actual lives.
Today, as the world progressive people see the noble image of H.E.KIM JONG Un and hear the news of his revolutionary activities they see another great peerless man who is exactly the same as H.E.KIM IL SUNG and H.E.KIM JONG IL. We remain firmly confident that as President KIM IL SUNG and H.E. KIM JONG IL live eternally as the Sun of humankind and as H.E.KIM JONG Un, who unwaveringly succeeds and translates their cause into brilliant reality Korea has bright and brilliant future. ***
