Holding Aloft the Banner of the Juche Idea

WITH the passing away of the great President Kim Il Sung 20 years back, the world lost the most prominent great man.

Although President Kim Il Sung passed away, his esteemed name shines as symbol of national liberation and the era of independence.

President Kim Il Sung embarked upon the path of revolution in his childhood of teens to liberate Korea from the Japanese colonial rule and blazed the road of struggle for the Korean people by initiating the Juche Idea.

He brought liberation to Korea through the 15 years of anti-Japanese armed struggle and erected a country of people.

He defeated the US imperialists who boasted of being “strongest” in the world, thus safeguarding the sovereignty and dignity of Korea.

Holding aloft the banner of the Juche idea, President Kim Il Sung repelled aggression and intervention of foreign forces and turned the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea into an invincible powerful country of independence, self-reliance and self-defense. ***
