Remembering His Excellency KIM IL SUNG

ACCORDING to the agreement between Mongolia and the DPRK, my mother, Ms. Cherma, had the opportunity to take care of more than 200 Korean orphans during and after the Korean war in which the heroic Korean people fought against US imperialism for the freedom and independence of their country.

She did her utmost to provide the Korean orphans with good meals and rich nutrition by working hard as a cooker during 7 years.

President KIM IL SUNG had highly appreciated her efforts and paid special attention to my mother’s rest of life.

It is unthinkable for my mother to lead a happy and blessed life being called as “Cherma Mom” or “Mongolian Mom” among the Koreans apart from the love and care of president KIM IL SUNG.

My mother was blessed to have the opportunity of meeting president KIM IL SUNG 4 times, who enjoyed great reputation and is regarded as one of the great politician amongst not only Asia but also throughout the world.

I am also fortunate to have the honor of meeting him 2 times with my mother.

Though our eternal president passed away on the 8th of July, 1994, my heart has been full of beautiful and precious memories about him just like a permanent candlelight.

President KIM IL SUNG gave a gold ring to my mother as a gift in recognition of her hard working, which my mother handed it over to me as a family treasure.

My mother’s name was inscribed on the ring, which shows how thoughtful and benevolent father the president KIM IL SUNG was. It was beyond our expectation that president KIM IL SUNG kindly invited us and warmly welcomed to take good care of us several times.

The longer years pass by, the deeper and more vivid my memory towards him becomes. I very often recall the boundless love and care of president KIM IL SUNG given to our family and every moment spent with him. April 15 is the biggest holiday for my family. It has become as a tradition of my family that all members of family gather to memorize president KIM IL SUNG on this day since my mother had been alive.

Even after my mother died, I and my brother together with all other family members made it rule to visit DPRK embassy in Mongolia on 8th of July every year to lay the most beautiful flowers to his portrait and pay tribute to him who had made great contribution to the development of the friendly relationship between two countries.

Likewise the Korean people, my family is living all the time with president KIM IL SUNG in our hearts.

It is true that every memory could get discolored. However his love, care to my family and all memories related to him are always kept in our hearts and get even more vivid.

As the friendship between peoples of DPRK and Mongolia, special friendship between president KIM IL SUNG and my family will remain unchanged like a gold ring give by the president.

I proudly say that my mother tried to become a bridge for the two people's friendship. In order to be faithful to her wish and more importantly to return president's love and care, I organized the Mongolia-DPRK Friendship Bridge Association on the occasion of 100th birthday of the president KIM IL SUNG.

I am fully determined to live in the way my mother lived and devote myself to development of the friendship between Mongolia and DPRK upholding the will of president KIM IL SUNG.

Great love and care for my family.

Will go down over generation
And remain forever and forever. ***
