Sun Kim Il Sung

PRESIDENT Kim Il Sung is not only a leader who founded and developed the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, but also an extinguished leader of the world who defended the cause of socialism. He brought freedom, humanity, equality, happiness and peace to all the peoples of the world.

In all the periods from the liberation of the country from the exploitation and oppression of Japan through the 20 years-long national liberation struggle to those days when he led the people to the victory in the war with the US imperialists and built a new country on the ruins, President Kim Il Sung rallied the people into one and devoted his all to build a united Korea.

He awakened the awareness of the people to clear the dark prospect of the national reunification and inspired their ardor of reunification and led them to the movement for improving the agriculture, industry, the economy and people's livelihood with the line of the three revolutions, ideological, technological and cultural.

The guiding idea firmly held fast to by him throughout the period of leading the revolution is the Juche idea which clarified the three properties of man: independence, creativity and consciousness.

Throughout the period of the revolution and construction developing as the days go by, guided by the Juche idea, advanced and scientific, the people overcome the hardship and ordeals to become more independent men under his leadership and solidly fixed the goal of their life. Therefore, President Kim Il Sung is highly praised as the “Sun of Korea”.

In conclusion, I offer to him a song “Sun Kim Il Sung”:

Heaven-born is President Kim Il Sung
He brought to all peoples great happiness and freedom
To make today and glory.

With inexhaustible Juche idea
