Kumsusan Palace of the Sun, the Holy Place of Immortality

WHEN we commemorate the 20th anniversary of the demise of the great Leader President Kim Il Sung, we must speak about the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun where he lies in state, together with leader Kim Jong Il.

Not only for the Korean people but for all defenders and friends of socialist Korea as well as Juche idea and Songun idea followers all around the world the palace is the holy place of immortality.

Whenever I visited Korea in the last two decades since President Kim Il Sung's demise I went there to pay my respect and veneration to him. Seeing him lying in state I never had the impression that he is dead. Like for the Koreans he is alive and lives forever in my heart.

It was leader Kim Jong Il who immortalized the President and declared the then Kumsusan Memorial Palace as the temple of Juche. He declared the President as the Eternal President of the DPRK and hold him in highest esteem.

After leader Kim Jong Il's unexpected and untimely demise nearly 3 years ago, it was the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un who named the former Kumsusan Memorial Palace the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun and laid leader Kim Jong Il in state. The Marshal proclaimed leader Kim Jong Il as the Eternal General Secretary of the WPK and as the Eternal Chairman of the National Defense Commission of the DPRK to immortalize him also and to hold him in highest esteem.

In no other country the national leaders are preserved like in their life-time on the place where they worked and guided the political, ideological, economic and diplomatic activities for decades and met many foreign friends.

This clearly demonstrates the uniqueness of these incomparable great men who fought their whole life for people's happiness.

The palace's name expresses the fact that the two great Generalissimos lying in state there are the eternal Suns who illuminate the Korean people's struggle for a thriving nation and national reunification and the Suns of Juche who lead humanity to global independence.

Seeing photos of the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un and films about his revolutionary activities, I have really the impression that he is the exact incarnation of the great Generalissimos and absolutely identical with them.

Marshal Kim Jong Un leads the Korean people to accomplish President Kim Il Sung's and leader Kim Jong Il's behests. The holy Kumsusan Palace of the Sun will tell all future generations about the great men's love for the country and the people and their creed The People is my God.
