Progressive People of the World Look Back upon the Traces Traversed

TWENTY years flew by since all the Korean people mourned sorrowfully over the death of their respected leader. Now the progressive people of the world look back upon the traces traversed by him to build a new century and contributed to the cause of global independence. The new society built in Korea under the banner of the Juche idea is a symbol and model of the world revolution.

The integral system of this idea, philosophy and politics is a society everybody is yearning for. At the same time, the conception means that an individual has a “motive power”, in other words, that he is the master of his own destiny and has the strength able to carve it out.

This unique political and philosophical principle on life is indirectly introduced and applied to the “contemporary revolution” of Latin America. Specifically recently it became in Latin America an ideological basis of the Bolivar revolution and in case of our Ecuador as a theoretical and practical basis of the “civilian revolution”, the principle of “wellbeing”.

Conceptually it is an impact of the Juche idea accustomed to our society and customs.

We hope that these philosophical principles implanted by President Kim Il Sung and introduced by the social movements and progressive governments toward the improvement of people’s livelihood would liquidate the regimes of the grand capital.

We affirm that we will see that the Ecuadorian people learn the life of President Kim Il Sung and his immortal works and organize the activities that the new era pursued by the people of Latin America be further stimulated by his historical behests.

Long live the historical behests of President Kim Il Sung!
Long live Juche!
Long live the civilian revolution!
Long live the friendship and solidarity between peoples!
