Beacon of Mankind

FIRST I extend warm greetings to the heroic people of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea for the technological achievements made by the fraternal Korean people in the fields of the military and science heard of everywhere in the planet in recent years. All this was resulted from implementing the behests given by inmortal great leader President Kim Il Sung, permanent President of the DPRK.

To look back upon the exploits of immortal great leader Kim Il Sung, he embarked to the struggle against Japanese imperialists in his young age, and reading with avidity the life of Lenin, the fundamentals of socialism, biographies of many noted men of the country and many other revolutionary books, cultivated a great discrimination on the social phenomena and revolution.

In 1945 he drove out the Japanese imperialists from his country and some years later founded the Democratic People's Republic of Korea on September 9, 1945.

Two years later the United Status made a military intervention of injustice with an ambition of occupying the whole Korean peninsula, but the army of the DPRK defended their territory under the leadership of the great leader Marshal Kim Il Sung.

This unfortunate war took three years and truce was made with the splendid victory of the DPRK army, but the state of the truce is still continued.

Since then President Kim Il Sung applied the Juche idea, a philosphy of an eternal significance, and the three revolutions ideological, technical and cultural to open up a right way of building a Korean-style socialism.

The Korean nation has always fought to keep a peaceful balance of the world. Nevertheless, the mass media under the control of the imperialists slander the DPRK as if it is a warlike invader.

Though this country is a military power, its might is directed to prevent anyone from invading its nation and disturbing peace and safeguard its nation.

Sixty years passed since the conclusion of the Armistice Agreement.

The successes being made by the DPRK prove to the world the power of the people armed with the excellent ideas.

All the people who learned the Juche idea found the way of collective development of the people there and began to achieve a genuine freedom.

There is no doubt that a man takes the society upon his shoulder when he understands the ideological principles that conform to the aspiration of the society.

Therefore, the Juche idea, the heritage left by immortal great leader Kim Il Sung, is a beacon lighting to a better future for the mankind. ***
