PAEKTU, the sacred mountain of the Korean nation, is a giant witness of the past, present and future.
At its feet, the anti-japanese guerrillas commanded by our Great Leader President KIM IL SUNG sacrificed their everything for the liberation of the fatherland. It was also in its sacred camp where our Beloved Generalissimo KIM JONG IL was born as soldier among soldiers and with a gun in his hand to follow the lineage of the revolutionary family of great fathers of the people.
Mother KIM JONG SUK, the brightest flower of Korea, also blooms eternally among the white snow and living trees with precious words carved by fallen comrades.
And is under the care and training of the great persons of Mt. Paektu that a new servant of the people was born, our Marshal KIM JONG UN, that promised to fullfil the orders of the Great Leaders to build a magnificent society based in love and equality, expeling the enemies and invaders of Korea and achieving the long awaited reunification.
Paektu extends its arms crossing all the way from North to South, the Korean peninsula. So like a winter breeze, Paektu carries the love of the Great Leaders all the way until Hallasan, located in Cheju island.
But the spirit of Paektu is not challenged by physical distance, and there are hundreds of thousands of people that felt into its mystical history. Regardless of race, nationality and religion, more and more human beings are wondering where the power of Paektu comes from, and if its breeze could also reach every corner of the world.
So we could say that today, the wind of love of the Great Persons of Mt. Paektu is attracting and inspiring so many people that once were hopeless about the future of mankind and advance of imperialism, slavery and capitalist decandece.
There is almost not a single day when all the world will not listen a word from Korea, a gentle breeze from Paektu that carries the scent of revolution and liberation.
It is for that reason that we all should think of Paektusan as the highest peak int he world, not by human measure, but as a witness of history and herald of a new future for Korea and the mankind.***
