Along the Years Koreans are Inspired and Mobilized by Juche and Songun

IT is a great privilege to represent Bulgarian members of Friendship society tightly connected with Korean people and to express our solidarity with unprecedented brave and devoted Korean nation, inspired by Great Persons of Mt. Paektu, Korea.

This year together with Korean people we are celebrating 75th founding anniversary of the Workers’ Party of Korea. Why do we consider the anniversary as so important in the long history of the nation. This is because the contemporary part of the glorious history is written by wisdom and devotion of the great leaders – President Kim Ill Sung and Leader Kim Jong Ill with unconditional continuation of His Excellency Kim Jong Un.

The Workers’ Party of Korea’s supreme authority and unique leadership, which stands unrivaled with any political party around the world, constitutes the brilliant result of the outstanding leadership in the name of Korean people.

Along the years Koreans are inspired and mobilized thanking the ideas of Jhuche and Songun. The great ideas of self-reliance credo and later the trust in your own capacity in order to protect your own life and the life of your nation is that great thing which make Korea and their respected leaders unique in the whole world for whole history.

Being a part of Korean peninsula, in a period of extremely difficult challenges, political ambitions and confrontation of foreign forces, only a strong motivation and sustainable discipline is possible to create Koreans contemporary heroes.

Studying the history of Korea, we do realize that the ever green philosophy question “How personally shall I survive?” gets replaced to “How will the system continue to exist?” That is the system and that is the way of life which will be in the future. We, members of friendship association always note that WPK having its unique mode of existence – to share the destiny with its people and make selfless, devoted efforts for the best of people. This wise policy resulted in achieving people’s unrested support and love into the country as well as enjoying the respect and admiration of the world progressive people.

This was the base to create and set our Bulgaria - Korea friendship association. This was the reason for us to have an original, the first in the world library named “Kim Ill Sung”. That place was established in the name of great leader one year after he passed away in order to commemorate his life and revolutionary work. That place is unique center for people to study, to listen and discuss Kim Ill Sung’s ideas. The library is natural focus for people of every age, different social position and various interests. Professors and students are set together in order to present their own understanding and feelings for one or another way to reaching the belief of solidarity and independence.

We would like to focus your attention on one activity more, connected with everlasting achievements of the great leaders for the happiness and security of the Korean people. This is a group for studying the ideas, created by Kim Ill Sung, named Chuche. Nowadays the group is renamed to “Group for feasts of Kimilisenism and Kimchenirism studies”. The very important thing is that most members are young people inspired by the philosophy of peace and happiness for all people under the leadership of Kim Ill Sung and Kim Chong Ill. Members have their own contacts with progressive organizations all around the world and last year they hosted international conference for the actual aspects of the Kimilsenism and Kimchenirism and their reflection on the contemporary world.

There is one more club, very impressive “First private club for friendship with Korea”, located in country side, in the town of Vratza. They also develop their own activities, get together people from different generations to watch documentaries, to listen reports and to taste good Korean food. The owner of the place and chief organizer of the events is named Vesko Vasilev. I underline his name because his model makes us very proud. He is a good example how devoted people are sample for imitation as well.

We, members of Library “Kim Ill Song”, members of Group for studying Kimilsenism and Kimchenirism are assembled as Bulgaria - Korea friendship association used to have regular meetings, mainly devoted to important dates from Korean history. Many members present their own reports and personal point of view. It is very satisfying to give the chance more people to be able to voice their enthusiasm and respect toward great leaders Kim Ill Sung and Kim Chong Ill.

Unfortunately due to the pandemic, COVID-19, sweeping all around the world, members of friendship association had to accept some restrictions for meetings and celebrating our planned occasions. That is why we fully appreciate the chance to be organized in international on-line assembly. We appreciate the efforts and kind invitation from the organizing committee. We would like to testify our respect and to say our worm thank you for all of you, our friends and comrades.

Thank you for the chance to make us a part of one world family on the occasion of the 75th Founding Anniversary of the Workers’ Party of Korea under the joint auspices of OCIFGPP and Indonesia-Korea Friendship and Cultural Exchange on theme of the event “Korea: Ever-Victorious with Independence”.

Thank you for the opportunity to share our deep respect for colossal feats performed by the great persons of Korea and the Worker’s Party of Korea before the Korean revolution and for the accomplishment of cause of world independence, very much looks forward to active participation and support from friends of the Korean people around the world.
