Korea: Ever Victorious with Independence

IT is a privilege to me to participate in e-Seminar on the Korea: Ever Victorious with Independence.

It has provided me an opportunity to associate and interact with a large number of academicians through e-seminar. Please accept my warm greeting to the participants in the e-seminar.

The topic offered in this seminar provided me an opportunity to appreciate the solid foundation of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea laid by great leader Kim Il Sung and further nourished and consolidated by his able successors Comrade Kim Jong Il and Marshal Kim Jong Un.

My first visit to the DPRK was in June 23 to July 08, 1971. I met great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung on June 29, 1971 evening. He came near to our table recognizing my national dress, said, welcome to Nepali friends, both DPRK and Nepal small independent countries surrounded by big powers. Our independence can be further consolidated by Juche Idea of independence and self-reliance. We agreed him and congratulated to the great leader as an outstanding world leader, champion in the cause of independence and sovereign equality. I recollect this glorious moment of meeting with the great leader Kim Il Sung.

As a current President of Nepal AAPSO, I take great leader Kim Il Sung, his able successors Comrade Kim Jong Il and H.E. Marshal Kim jong Un as national heroes of Korea and brilliant leaders of non-align movement (NAM) also, where they stood firm against imperialism and all kinds of domination, the core theme of NAM.

His Excellency Marshal Kim Jong Un is successfully conducting a dialogue with nuclear strength with US President Trump. We all know how President Saddam Hussein of Iraq and President Gadafi of Libya were assassinated by Imperialist forces in absence of nuclear defense in these countries. Congratulation to H.E. Marshal Kim Jong Un, Chairman of the Workers Party of Korea and the supreme leader of the Korean people, in successfully integrating strong defense and shroud diplomacy.

We see "the Korea: Ever Victorious with Independence" following Juche idea, Songun policy and pragmatic diplomacy backed by strength, the strength of people's unity and strong defense build up.
