The Heroic Korean People’s Struggle Cannot be Separated from the Wise Leadership of the Workers’ Party of Korea

MR. (Mrs.) Chairperson,

I would like to express my welcome and support for organizing this International E-seminar according to the current situation under the joint auspices of the Organizing Committee and Indonesia-Korean Friendship and Cultural Exchange on the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Workers’ Party of Korea, the guide of all victories of Korean People and Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.

The prosperity of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, which we all celebrated the National Day a while ago, and the history of the heroic Korean people's struggle cannot be separated from the wise leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Workers' Party of Korea is a revolutionary party of a Juche type created by President Kim Il Sung, great Leader of Korean people. The Workers’ Party of Korea is also a militant invincible party who has overcome all kinds of challenges and obstacles by unifying people as one under the leadership of General Kim Jong Il when imperialists’ anti-socialism frenzy blew after the world socialist camp collapsed.

President Kim Il Sung and General Kim Jong Il are great men who, together with our Afro-Asian Peoples' Solidarity Organization, gave generous support and help for the independence, happiness, and freedom of the oppressed people in the Third World.

In particular, DPRK's absolute support and help for the Arab people who opposed Israeli Zionists’ aggression and war maneuvers is a fact that everyone around the world knows well.

The Korean people, led by the glorious Workers' Party of Korea, have created miraculous achievements that amazed people around the world even in such difficult conditions and environments over the past decades.

Victory in the fierce Fatherland Liberation War against US imperialism and “Chollima Movement” that surprised the world in postwar restoration construction still remains vividly in the memory of many people.

Urban construction, improvement of people's life, and strengthening of national defense in the 1970s and 1980s are another great achievement of the Korean people.

Today, the Korean people are creating new achievements one after another in the struggle to ensure peace and safety in Northeast Asia and the world under the wise leadership of his dear Supreme Leader, Kim Jong Un.

In 2017, I visited Korea to participate in the 5th International Festival in Praise of Great Persons of Mt Paektu held in Pyongyang. At that time, I went to various places in Pyongyang City and provinces with the participants, and one of the creations we saw was Ryomyong Street.

The modern Ryomyong Street, which has emerged with thousands of house apartments in just one year, shows that no force headed by the US can break the indomitable will of the Korean people, and its fighting spirit of self-reliance and fortitude. It was a symbol of the times.

The path to victory that the Korean people have walked over the past decades is actually a history of struggle and pioneering that is difficult to imagine. All these achievements made by the Korean people give great strength and courage to progressive people all over the world.

We, Afro-Asia Peoples' Solidarity Organization, will express full support and solidarity to the Korean people's achievements and struggles, and will send all possible support at all occasions. Also, we will strengthen the unity and cooperation among the people by actively promoting their introduction to the peoples of various countries.

The Afro-Asian Peoples’ Solidarity Organization is an organization that fights for national liberation and unity of progressive peoples in Asia, Africa and Latin America.

Our organization is carrying out many solidarity movements on a global scale, including solidarity movements for the sovereignty and right of survival of the Palestinian people. We will also actively launch a solidarity movement with the Korean people in the future.

I finally hope that your efforts to overcome the new coronavirus pandemic disease will come to fruition, so that everyone will be healthy and will succeed in everyone's struggle for social justice and meet each other at various opportunities.
